  13. I've been fighting with PnP and Windows95 for a couple of days. When
  14. reconfiguring,
  15. remove the old modem from device manager, then shut down and physically
  16. remove the modem. Restart Windows95 without installing the PnP modem. This
  17. is an important step. Check device manager to see that your resources are
  18. as you
  19. want them, not including the PnP modem.  If you  want the modem on com2,
  20. be sure com2 does not appear in device manager as working. Shut down, and
  21. install the PnP.
  22. This works for the Rockwell based modem I'm using. I don't see why it
  23. wouldn't be the same, though.
