- I've been fighting with PnP and Windows95 for a couple of days. When
- reconfiguring,
- remove the old modem from device manager, then shut down and physically
- remove the modem. Restart Windows95 without installing the PnP modem. This
- is an important step. Check device manager to see that your resources are
- as you
- want them, not including the PnP modem. If you want the modem on com2,
- be sure com2 does not appear in device manager as working. Shut down, and
- install the PnP.
- This works for the Rockwell based modem I'm using. I don't see why it
- wouldn't be the same, though.
